3DSupply with new Website?

Yesterday, my co-worker notified my about a promotion of 3DSupply and I recognized, that they have new design and you have also the choise to select from various models and colors for your shirts. I like the new site much more than the old.
For just speading they word, they offer to give a shirt (or any other item < 20 Eur) for free. So it seems to be a good idea to equip my dear wife, which is a teacher of catholic religion, with a new Jesus shirt.
Update: Today I got a reply from 3DSupply, stating that they deny the shirt request, cause I don’t have 10 posts in the last 6 month. As this is unfortunately true, due my always limited time, I can’t find this hard requirement in their terms. Looks like my blog doesn’t match their minimal requirements and I’m advised to equip my girls somewhere else with geekware. :o)

I’m on vacation the 1rst two weeks of June in Manerba del Garda at Lago di Garda. If some dudes are around for beering / chatting / keysigning, feel free to contact me til Friday.
In case of urgent actions (for example #530271), I’m without regular internet access there. Feel free to NMU if needed, but try to avoid breaking things. For secuirty related issues please coordinate with team@security.debian.org.

I’m really shocked, that such a nice and young man was pulled out of life out of the blue. Thanks for all the great things you have done for my family and me. Nothing more I can say at the moment other than ‘I hope we will see us again anytime wherever’.

off for vacation

I’m off for vacation for just a week without any internet access (Oh my good, I will hate my inbox). This break will give me some time for my wife and my daughter before my second daughter will arrive in this world which is scheduled for mid june.
If there anything strange happen with my packages, just feel free for a 0day NMU.
Just after this week, I will attend to RIPE 56 where my latency will just a bit lower than normal.

Liquid Sunday 4.1

Like (almost) every year I visited obligatory the event. Since my family^Wreallife is normaly preventing me from such a party, this one left cause it’s in my old homeland and there are good friends forcing me to join them (my wife can’t deny a please of her brother :).
After it was sabotaged last year, this year the location wasn’t anymore in the KSA Tautenhain but in the “Volkspalast” Leipzig. I never visited this location before, but in contrast to the KSA it is a regular (commercial) location. So I was quite interested how such a great event could be integrated into a more or less mainstream location.
We reached 23 o’clock and it was really empty … there was a big floor where usually the weekly party is on stage. The music was less commercial then expected, later I found out on a lineup, that this was called Housefloor , I guess this floor was dedicated to the crowd visting the location regularly. So we discovered 3 more areas and I was keeping in the Mainfloor, which was a room much smaller and did look like a old fabric room (with additional deco). Around 1 o’clock there was many people in that room … a short round through the other areas did take me back to the Mainfloor. The deco there was great like every year and inside this room the usual feeling of the event could be recognised. Outside that room, is looked like every discotheque and the people seems also not like on the last events. To make long things short … Inside the Mainfloor sound, ambiente and crowd was great, but I didn’t care about the rest. And yes … the music was LOUD, but that’s okay for me on such a party.

Today it happen, what I know it would happen some day. My grandfather is not in this world anymore.
I don’t know, if there is anything other, where he could be now and unfortunatly it seems we aren’t experience it until we are in the same situation.
It’s hard for me to write whats going on in my head… If it was okay for my grandfather to leave us, it’s also for me, but I will miss him. It makes me distraught that I’m so far away since 5 years now and wasn’t able to visit my family more often.

Vacations

The next two weeks, I`ll take some vacations, half of it’s with rarely and slow IP connection. I don’t know right now, if this is luck or bad luck, but I’ll see hows going. I hope the weather will be much better than the last 2 weeks to make some outside activities possible, which may compensate bad IP. Maybe I’ll find some spare time to get in touch with Mac OS X. (-;
