eGroupware 1.4.001.dfsg-2.1~bpo40+1 backported to etch

I did upload a updated version of eGroupware to my pool. You can grab it from http://ftp.cyconet.org/debian/archive/bpo/egroupware/1.4.001.dfsg-2.1~bpo40+1/ or via:

deb ftp://ftp.cyconet.org/debian etch-backports main non-free contrib

For installing the rules analog backports.org applies.

Have fun!

Thanks great news thanks! Can you tell me what packages I should be installing, the version I get from backports seems to be 1.2.107. Does the 1.4 branch use a different name?
Thanks in advance of your reply,
    Durruti

I’ve found this article and trying to install wGW 1.4
    I’ve used your smple code
    echo “deb ftp://ftp.cyconet.org/debian etch-backports main non-free contrib̶” >> /etc/apt/sources.lists
    aptitude update
but aptitude don’t see any eGW 1.4 packages.
After looking @ your ftp-server, there arn’t any eGW 1.4 packages in the repo.

    Is there something wrong?

    regards

At first, you need to use “aptitude install -t etch-backports <packages>” to get them. Anyways … I did shoot the packages out of the pool by uploading new packages from the 1.2 branch. Update your package list and it should work again.
You should be also able to get the packages manualy from ftp://ftp.cyconet.org/debian/archive/bpo/egroupware.
